Hayden - Seven Months

Hayden,

You are seven months old!

You weigh (?). Ok, so we are a little unclear on this right now, as we had a little trouble trying to weigh you ourselves. You are still very petite, though!

Wow! What a fun month! You have learned so much during this short time. You love to say "Dada" and say it quite often.

We dropped the dreamfeed at night, so now you nurse five times a day. You usually go to bed between 7:30-8:00 and wake up between 6:30-7:00. We are still having some trouble with you waking during the night, but Daddy has been gracious enough to check on you and get you back to sleep. Naps are still okay, and you usually take three a day.

We have introduced more solids this month, and you sure do get excited about your food. You are especially fond of peas (surprisingly!) and you pretty much like all fruits. We have tried giving you a sippy cup, but you're not to sure about drinking from it. You seem more interested in biting it. Haha.

Ma-Ma has been working on "bye-bye" with you. You don't say it quite yet, but you have starting waving your hand. You haven't quite made the connection to bye-bye, but you sure like to flick your wrist!

You're able to sit up by yourself now, and I think it won't be long before you start crawling. You've figured out the arms part, but you are still working on your legs. You'll start to pull your knees up and then just get frustrated. I don't think you are far away, though.

As you might expect, you are still in awe of your big sister. She absolutely cracks you up! It doesn't take much...all she has to do is twirl around or make a funny face, and you lose it.

You are such a sweet baby! You love to give kisses, eat Mommy's hair, and of course, be held. I think you might even be a little bit Mommy-spoiled. But that's ok, if you ask me.

For some reason, seven months old seems so close to one year old. I can't believe you are getting so big! Pretty soon, you won't be a little baby, and that makes me sad. But you certainly are growing up to be one of the cutest, sweetest little girls I know!
