If you're the cutest little girl in the world...Take a hike!

Yeah, you heard me right. We sent the little one packin'!

Ok, ok. Just kidding. But we did decide to take a family hike on Saturday. Friday night, Clint was able to get one of those baby carriers that you use for hiking (Craigslist, baby!), and so we decided on Saturday to head up to Paris Mountain. We researched some trails beforehand and agreed on the one that was "family friendly."

Seriously...who rates these things? The "family friendly" trail ended up being rated a 7 for one part and a 9 on the other. The scale is 1-10, my friends, with 10 being the most strenuous.

Needless to say, my calves are paying for it today. But I am proud to say that I completed it... with minimal whining.

And the best part of the whole experience was that Harper had so much fun! We always knew she liked being outside, but we weren't sure if she'd like being strapped in for 1 1/2 hours. She loved it so much she was either talking or singing the entire time. Watching her enjoy God's creation helped both Clint and I to appreciate everything he has blessed us with!

Say cheese!
