You just gotta love it when it snows in March! Our journey started in Montgomery, AL, where we were visiting Mimi for Jamboree. Unfortunately, when we woke up to snow, we decided we needed to hit the road and try to beat the storm as it headed towards SC. Driving conditions were pretty bad in the Auburn and Opelika areas, but lucky for us, we were able to stay ahead of the storm and got back to SC before it turned ugly.
Yes, snow was definitely unexpected, but it was a nice change of pace. Now I'm just looking forward to some warmer weather!
Another good thing - SCHOOL WAS CANCELLED! This meant that I got to spend an extra day with my precious Harper. It was her first time being out in the snow, and she actually seemed to like it (despite the fact that we dressed her up like the kid in Christmas Story).
